display coding
quick finder

It is becoming more common for businesses and state and local government agencies to look at the options for making electronic information more accessible to persons with disabilities.

Tristream's display coding expertise allows us to build in flexibility for greater accessibility in the future, or to address specific accessibility issues today.

Common accessibility problems on the Web include: Images without alternative text, lack of alternative text for image maps, misleading use of structural elements on pages, uncaptioned audio or undescribed video, lack of alternative information for users who cannot access frames or scripts, or sites with poor color contrast. (The ADA has legal guidelines for businesses to maintain accessible applications and web-based interfaces. Federal Government agencies are required to meet the guidelines of Section 508.)
