“Conceptual” interface designs, such as this one, the result of researching and analyzing business goals, user needs and IT capabilities, bring projects to a real and tangible focus. Major web application projects too often are communicated through lists of business goals, technical specifications and lists of complaints from the help desk. The user interface and user strategies shown here were researched and developed early in the project and significantly clarified project goals and directions, setting the overall user strategy for the project.
